Hi there. I am activating my Public mobile simcard and trasferring my phone number as a new Public Mobile Client. I've bought a sim card, filled in all the forms at "activate.publicmobile.ca", have chosen my plan, filled in all the payment details and clicked "Process". Then my browser was loading for some time and showed me SERVER ERROR: "404 file directory not found. The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporary unavailable". So now i don't know what is the status of my activation. I cannot log in into my account even
Does smb know what to do next?

I went through the process of activating my phone and did the payment part but my phone did not get activated

@JKM5 When you try again make sure you follow the advice of : clear your browser cache, use secret/incognito mode in chrome or Firefox as they work best on the site. Btw write down your password, pin#, security question and answer and put them somewhere safe to access if you forget this info sometime in the future.

Retry only it your card wasn't charged. If no charges on carrd, retry after 50 minutes.

@mianmuzaffar200 You got a new SIM for you dad's phone to replace the SIM he had? Or to activate a new account for him? If you are replacing his SIM with a new one have you registered the new one in his account?
If you activated a new SIM, plan and account and it says SIM not registered is the phone locked? What model of phone/year? Previous provider?

Hi,
I just goa new sim for my dad, I changed the credit card information as wellhis plan however after doing that his SIM stopped working. when I dial out , I am getting error message of unregisterred sim however when i login and view his account, that appears to be working ok.

@avsergIf your activation get disrupted in the middle and your SIM card is working. Try creating an account at selfserve.publicmobile.ca that is usually the last step of the whole activation process. If there is disruption, that steps won't get started. Try that to see if it works.

I have just created a new account. I guess the one I created while doing activation didn't save.
Now the new one is working good!

When you sign up online at home, you should have set up account. Login with the email address and password that you picked with activation of plan. Are you getting a specific error message?

Sim card working but no account = activation issue. You can try the create account link, it sends you a code to the tel number. If that fails you need to contact mods and include sim number if possible.
The best way to contact moderators is to use the ChatBot SIMon (the green ? on bottom of screen). Typing "submit ticket" then clicking on "contact us", is the quickest way I have found to get to the submit ticket for moderator assistance form.

Thanks. Seems like sim card is working, but I still cannot log in into my account

First, check if you were charged with activation. If you were charged, then put in your PM Sim card into your phone to see whether it is working.
If you were not charged, you can try to activate a plan again. Some people would suggest that you activate with a temporary new PM phone number. Get the account active first and then when everything is working, you can port your old number via self service account. You might want to wait some time in betweeen attempts. Might also want to clear cache or try in cognito mode. Website can be finicky. Chrome incognito works well with this site.
