Activating SIM - ran into issue - now it says SIM invalid

hello,

 

i am trying to activate the new SIM i received. I went ahead with the steps but upon review found the address was wrongly entered so went back to the previous screen and corrected it, but now i receive a SIM invalid error so stuck. The first time the SIM was valid and it went through.

In this type of situation, sending a private message to the mdoerators would not help. When someone starts an activation but then clicks on the back button, a known side affect is that the sim card number will be show as invalid for 50 minutes.  The only remedy for this is time.

@Shilpas  Is your phone locked to your previous provider? If yes, you need too call then and get it unlocked before you can use it with a PM sim.

@Shilpas  try manually selecting PM as your network and restart your phone, waut 30 seconds and restart it.  If thus fails, whats the make and model of your phone?  Thanks.

The application went through, but my Sim is still not activated. It does not seem to identify public mobile network and does not get registered in the network yet.

@Shilpas  During activation if for any reason your session errors out you need to wait for an hour for the current session lock to timeout otherwise you will get the dreaded invalid sim card error.

 

Try again in an hour and it should work.

To add to what @Staliger  suggested. Go to private/ incognito mode. Welcome to PM  @Shilpas . Stay safe. 

When entering your debit/ credit card information:
1. Enter the credit card address exactly as it appears on your statement ( capitalize all if necessary ).
2. Leave the apartment field blank, if applicable enter your apt in the street address field ie xxx - street address.
3. Enter your postal code without spaces ( if there is a space on the credit card statement then enter the first 5 digits only with the space).
