Activated a line but the phone number is being used by someone else

Hi there!

 

just activated my SIM card and the phone number that was assigned is already being used by another person, I am unable to change it as well. Please guide me

this is a glitch with the system. You need to pick a new number.  If you can login My Account , go to Profile (or go to Account page if you are using the PM app) and change the phone number by clicking on the pencil besides it
