Hello,
I've just ordered my sim card, and I was looking to take advantage of the $55 promotion that you have ongoing at the moment. The card will not get here for another five days or so, will that promotion be around then? Is there any way I can secure that promotion?

@davejsullivan just to add to everyone's comments about going to a Telus /Koodo store and getting a Sim card don't forget to use a refferal code and you'll get 10$ back on your new activation! It will cover one of your Sim cards and then you can save the other one as a spare or get a friend to switch to public Mobile too!

buy new sim from telus or koodo, and activated now,, for waiting for sim to geting maybe it's take a long time and when you get it there no promo for that deal so losing $10 and keep other sim to you or friend.

@tzliu I edited my post immediately after posting and re-reading the terms of the 12GB bonus data.
I agree OP should be eligible for the bonus data since he's already ordered the SIM but there's no way to know if the $55 plan will still be available if the SIM doesn't arrive for another week as PM's delivery time can take upto 3 weeks, unfortunately.

Yes I know this, there is no need to tell me about it. It has been PM usual practice for promotions, order the SIM for the promotion period, then it allows users to activate with a later deadline. Please read the date difference.
If the $55 promotion is on and @davejsullivan orderd the SIM, PM should and will honour the promotion.

@tzliu I believe that is for 12MONTHS2GB Bonus offer and is only available for new activations. The $55 plan is available to all but you're right if @davejsullivan wants to take advantage of the 2GB bonus data too, then he needs to activate before midnight ET today. edit: nvd misread the last part of the promo details.

I read the above as possibly being for the bonus 2GB, but not necessarily for the $55 plan.

As long as you ordered the SIM while the $55 promotion is on, you should be fine. Otherwise contact CS.

@davejsullivan hi if you want to be sure go to a telus or koodo store in your area and get one it can be up to 3 weeks for delivery

@davejsullivan It's being promoted as a limited time offer, but PM could extend for a longer period, however, no way for anyone to really know. Are you able to get to an official Koodo/Telus store? They are supposed to still sell PM SIMs or perhaps Amazon might have faster delivery, especially if using Prime.

The sim card is needed to activate. The plan only says limited time. That could mean tomorrow or it could mean months.
