If you are leaving PM, before everything else Remove your credit card from your account and cancel autopay (just in case). As soon as porting is completed, your PM account should be closed and you will lose access to web site (not to this forum, though).

There were occurrences PM charging people who left.

make sure you are using this number.

Contact Support if still a no-go, they ll be able to assist with that number after verifying your account.

@Sajankochar

Is your Public Mobile account number currently ACTIVE?

If you are porting outside the Telus family (Telus/Koodo) then your account will need to be ACTIVE to port out the phone number.

If currently suspended, change the plan to the cheapest one, $15, than make a payment to reactivate the plan.

Then port out.

Sorry to see you go. Good luck!

@Sajankochar   Log into your self serve account and it's top right hand corner starting 1000...

You should also remove any payment card (if any) before your port is completed as you will lose access to your account once the transfer is complete.

You could use the IMEI of your device to port out.  As for your Public Mobile account number, carriers do prefer that the account number is used above all else.  There are are a bunch of zeroes in your account number and it's easy to type the wrong number of them.  In any event, it's the responsbility of your new carrier to assist you with porting the number to them.
