My old Moto X Play is having battery issues so I've been authorized by the boss (wife) to get a new phone.
A possible contender is an ASUS Zenfone 3 Zoom (I like the camera and I like the AMOLED screen).
Questions:
The usual willmyphonework site doesn't have this model so I'll ask here.
Specs:
GSM 3G/3.5G | UMTS, HSPA+: 850, 900, 1700, 1900, 2100 MHz |
4G LTE | LTE: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 17, 28 Bands |
Danke in advance!

In most places in Canada, you can consider Bell and Telus B12 and B17 to be identical because it's just C block. If you want to learn more, see here:

I actually did read that last night, thank you so much - that's the best explanation anywhere on the web that I was able to find and to think our very own @sheytoon wrote it! 🙂
And I've bought the phone too, just adding my apps and playing with it now. All I needed to do was add a PM APN and all seems just fine.
Thanks again! 🙂

It has a good battery life, the model in canada is kind of low on specification. Overall its good value. and camera

Ok weird I thought I replied to this. I'll do again!
@JDT: It just came out Feb 2017 so that's new enough for me. Plus the 4's don't seem to have the nice AMOLED screen I like. 🙂
@Mana: I worded it badly! I meant I couldn't find this exact model on willmyphonework, there's various other variants but not sure how close they are or if they are European/etc. models.
@wetcoaster: So it sounds like I'd be fine, I figured as much. I don't understand the Band 12-17 thing but that's something I'll educate myself on. 🙂
Thanks all, I appreciate the input. 🙂

I think it maybe covered under sub-model.

I read @koimr1's post the way that they couldn't find the model on willmyphonework.net...
Here's a post from @sheytoon that outlines the frequencies PM is using: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Discussions/LTE-network-fundamentals/m-p/198799/highl...
It looks like the phone in question works with the major PM LTE bands, it doesn't have band 12 but can use band 17 instead.

@koimr1 I don't have this phone but you can check if it's compatible with PM using the following site:
Hope this helps.

What about the Zenfone 4? The Zenfone 3 is old news now!
