I was checking invoices for tax purposes today and found a Public Mobile bill for $100.80 from back in Sept 2023. I cross referenced the invoice on the Public Mobile site and sure enough the invoice thanks me for purchasing a "x1 Automatic Top Up" for $96 (plus 5% GST (AB) I live in in BC so that's weird too.)
I have taken advantage of some of the recent offers lately and opted for a 3-month plan when my old subscription ended but it looks like they continued to take the monthly payments AND the 3-month payment.
Anyway, the invoice says I requested it? How can I follow up and get a credit on my account? I don't need a credit on my credit card but would like to know how this might have happened ?

Okay ... I thought I checked but I'll double check to be sure,
Thanks!

The AB thing is normal, I'm in BC and mine says that too. I think it's just the location of wherever is actually putting the charge through. @softech I don't think it's related to the tax, but if it is the correct tax was charged for BC either way.
The rest I can't speak to but good luck.

@Grunge do you have an AB number?? tax is based on the area code of the phone number, not where you live
for PM, most people would have set automatic top-up from activation. It won't reset to non Autopay unless you opt 97t after. Please check your My Account, Subscription &Add-on page and see if Subscribed is toggled on

@Grunge where your or are you on a 90 day plan at one point ? With 90 day plans you pay for the 90 days upfront . But you can get support to investigate just
submit ticket with support . using the chat bubble bottom right of screen
If that doesn’t work you can always send private message to support .
