Nobody can really say if this is possible or not unless knowing which plan you want to swtich back. Only currently offered plans can be switched back to.

But they are giving more than 100 on even 3Gplans but PM was giving maximum 2.5

@Samy82   Koodo 3G speed still only up to 3Mbps, this is from Koodo site:

Plans with 3G speed may reach download speeds of up to 3 Mbps, and plans with 4G speed may reach download speeds up to 100 Mbps

But they do have a $39 for 20GB plan at 4G speed, promotion till Mar 15th

HI @Samy82

did you join Koodo Prepaid or Postpaid plan?

@Samy82   So, you moved to Koodo already in couple hours?  it's ok, it is using the same great Telus network  🙂

Thank you so much butt I already left the public Mobile for that reason.

it was a good journey with Public Mobile.

Did you allow 48 hours for the new 4G to take effect before quitting PM ?

Which provider have you migrated to ? What is their service like and how much are you paying ?

HI @Samy82   if you have only switched to 4G plan, the speed upgrade will come after 48 hours.  So, if it is less than that, you might need to wait for the new speed to come

if you decide to switch back to 3G , remember to use Change plan on renewal date to make the plan change on your next renewal and DO NOT use Change plan now, or you will loss money unncessary

@Samy82 before you switch back, make sure your Preferred network or network type is set to 4G or LTE or Automatic

Also, please run a speed test to confirm the speed: https://www.speedtest.net/apps

(please be aware that each test could cost you around 500Mb of data)

and if the speed is less than 3Mpbs, please confirm what brand and model your phone is

@Samy82

you can..but...how long has it been since you switched to the 4G plan ? It's stated that it could take 48 hours for the speed to take effect.

Yes you can switch plans back and forth. I do this regularly as required. Most of the time I'm on the cheap $15 3G plan but when I need extra speed and data I switch to the $40 4G 15 GB data.
