4G on the Canada and USA call plan

Presently Public is promoting the 4G.  I have the Canada wide and USA calling feature.  Can I add 4G to that plan?

That isn't an option because as previously mentioend, the current 4G plans don't include US long distance.

Since you've obviously been here for a while you will most likely have picked up all the freebies that this place has been giving away for the last few years. There was a long distance freebie included each time. That allows calling to the US. That and the 1000 minute add-on when you run out of those.

If you have the old roaming plan then that would be lost. That's a greater loss as then you would need to buy roaming add-ons that only last 15 days.

So it's not a bad loss if it's just long distance calling. It's a greater loss if you have roaming.

To get US calling, you need to purchase a US Roaming Add-on before you head down to the USA.

If you are in Canada calling to the USA, you will need a LD calling Add-on.

All PM plans are Canada wide calling and text while in Canada with the 3G or 4G plans.

All current plan does not have US calling

if you move to any of the current plan, you will loss your US calling for free.

However, you might consider workaround of using VoIP app TextNow to call US for free instead

You actually have to switch to 4G plan (any one offered by PM).

3G/4G are features of a particular plan.

None of current plans offer USA calling. USA calling is done trough US add-on you buy when you need it.

If you have OLD plan (grandfathered) including USA calling AND you have to have USA calling then do not switch to any available plans.
