@MoniqueB If you think you might want to visit the USA with the phone, or keep it for longer than two years, you might want to confirm with customer service that it will be provisioned for VoLTE (Voice over LTE). It may depend on the model also, will it be a Canadian model? I notice at least one other Canadian carrier reportedly doesn't enable VoLTE on the A54. You can contact customer service via private message using this link.

My future phone is a SAMSUNG Galaxy A54 5G. Being an occasional user, I do not need speed or much data. Specs of A54 includes 3G UMTS B1(2100), B2(1900), B4(AWS), B5(850), B8(900) and I wanted to know if compatible with Public.

You should be fine to go to 4 or even 5G, but just to make sure what’s your phone name you’re upgrading to?
