Was the warning from the device itself or was it text from SMS?
if it is warning from phone, you can modify the warning threshold and make sure the cycle start date is correct (PM running on 30 days cycle while phone default data tracker running on monthly cycle)
if it is a text from PM, it's known to be unreliable. Best is to confirm your usage on My Account , Overview tab

@Pete007It's possible the warning you're referring to is a setting on your phone, which is completely independent of your Public Mobile service or account.

Log into self service and look under My Data & Add-Ons. What does that counter say?

You will get 500 MB. If you signup for autopay then you would get an additional 500 MB.
