10x Number of spam calls

I ported my number to Public, and within a day, the number of spam calls I receive went from 1-2 per week to 4 per day. I’ve had this number for years on another carrier. Is Public selling my number? Is there a way to fix this?

I receive less than one spam call per month with PM

No PM doesn’t sell to 3rd party. Everyone gets spammed at one time. The number on the call display is spoofed to cover their real number.

Try installing the Truecaller app to minimize spam calls.

no one sell your number.  maybe you have call control in the old provider?

no they don't sell your number. For the next week or so, just don't answer any calls unless you recognize the callers number. Once the bad guys know you answer all calls, they will keep calling.
