Re: Number port from Freedom mobile not working

Hi, my father has exactly the same problem. On March 22, he subscribed to Public Mobile and tried to port his number from Freedom mobile. Since that day he has not been able to receive voice calls or texts. Because of this, he cannot even log into his Public Mobile app because it sends him a verification text that he cannot receive. We have tried several times shutting down his phone, but nothing changes.

Based on the previous query, it looks like the same problem.

Can you help my father get his phone to work properly?

A critical part to porting is to receive a text from your old provider and you have to reply YES within 90 mins.  If you are not receiving calls and text on your PM sim card, and only outgoing calls work, then you might have missed the step and hence porting was not completed

There is a number to call to talk to live support,  they can re-trigger the process for you.  I will message the number to you via the Community inbox ( https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage ) .  Check the envelope icon on top right.  Call them and get it fixed

And in case you called but they cannot help, you will then open a ticket with CS agent by private message here
