Voice call reception @ Sunnybrook Hospital

Hi there,

I work at Sunnybrook hospital (ground floor), my work phone is with Rogers and works perfectly fine in my office but my personal phone with PM doesn't get any voice calls.  When someone calls me, it doesn't even ring my phone, the caller is sent to my voicemail.

My phone is a Samsung S20+ and my work phone is iPhone 12.

I am able to get text messages but no voice calls.  This is very disappointing as I love my plan but if I can't receive voice calls this is an issue.  How can I resolve his issue?

I can understand your grievance. Many other companies do have it, but, we dont, yet! 
Hope they are working on it, if we have it, its gonna feel like a complete package

It's unfortunate that after all this time we still don't have wifi calling on PM.

1 con is that they 'still' dont have Wifi calling. Hope they bring it soon 🤞🏻
My suggestion would be to go with Motorola G power or Motorola Edge 2024. I can personally vouch for the latter one, having used it for 2-3 months and you get it for $300-$400 from Motorola Canada's website

Most likely a VoLTE issue as @hTideGnow said. 

You can confirm by putting your PM SIM into the iPhone and making a call, it should work no problem.

if you're gonna consider getting a VoLTE enabled cellphone to replace the Sam...you said your iPhone seems to work fine...maybe go that route.

sorry, no wifi calling for PM

if you want to upgrade the phone, S22 and above would have VoLTE that works with PM

and yes, it is a great time to upgrade for S22, your S20 should worth at least $700 for trade-in for a S25

try swapping sims to see if it occurs with other cellphone (this suggestion only applies if you have hard sim and nort esim)

it is a problem with VoLTE.  Samsung S20+ can only use 3G for voice and not VoLTE, it is possible there is poor 3G reception there and hence your phone is not getting the calls

Make sure you have latest OS and try Reset Network Settings.

a workaround is to set Call Forwarding when not answer to your work phone, or forward to a VoIP app like TextNow or Fongo
