No, the 1GB data Add-Ons do not expire. Any remaining data in your Add-Ons will continue to roll over until used up.
Yes, you can receive up to five 1GB data Add-Ons for every friend you refer as long as they successfully activate during the promotional period. Please note it may take up to 72 hours before your Add-Ons are added to your self-serve account. You will receive a text message when your 1GB Add-On is added to your account.
Yes, you are. This means that you would receive one 1GB Welcome Data Add-On for being referred, and another 1GB Data Add-On for every friend you refer (up to a max of five 1GB Data Add-ons for five friends referred) who successfully activates during the promotional time period.
Legacy customers are not eligible for the one-time 1GB Add-On offer or loyalty rewards. However, new customers referred by legacy customers are eligible for the one-time 1GB Add-On offer.

If you jus purchased it with paypal you may be able to cancel the order and go to Walmart go pick up a SIM card assuming they offer them in your Area. I’m not sure about any other credit card purchase though

Hi,
I just bought my sim card online but I would rather pick up from some place say walmart. Would it be possible now or is it too late? I would rather pick it up since the last date to regioster for this promotion is today.

End result is totally different. Referral data never expires so it's wise to use that last and let it roll over to future payment cycles.
Right now, my referral add-on data is drawing first and I'll need to get that corrected.

My understanding was that the additional GB doesn't have a 90 day expiry. I think this is why people value the extra GB more (sincce it can roll over).

@dna2016 it definitely matters since the add-on data is single use and goes away once its used up, while the plan data replenishes with every renewal.

Just wondering, does it really matter which one gets drawn first? Either way you're still getting an additional GB. Regardless of where it comes from it's the same end result. Just wondering what the concern is. @mobilewingman

It's always great to see promotions that are tied to some type of referral bonus opportunity. Although there may be some people who do not need the extra data, however at least there is thought by PM revolving around their existing clientele. Most, if not all, other cell companies offer promotions only to new customers and always seem to forget about the already existing paying customers.
Even though I personally don't need the extra data, but I really appreacite how PM continues to provide reasonable offers to their existing clientele. I think people need to realize not every offer will be for everyone, but eventually an offer may be presented that works for you. I'm sure PM will analyze how this offer faired after November 20th and have other discussions about worthwhile offers that will make us happy. Highly recommend if you have better ideas then definitely post that in the Public Lab forum.
Great job PM for always keeping us, the existing clientele, in mind.

I agree the appeal of
not paying for a phone upfront does sway lots of people. I myself just switched from A 2 year term and will save for a new phone. The subsidized phone isn’t the only thing you are paying more for.
Min my opinion I’ll use the $40-$60 savings per month to save for my next phone.
as For pay as you go services the savings are nickel and dime from company to company. Choose what is best for you

if I buy a plan with no date, do i get 1GB, free for the rest of time that I sty with PM?

@Tino_M It is a one time 1 GB data add-on for each of you; maximum of 5. Data add-ons last until completely used however long that takes. The speed is LTE unless you have a a 3G plan.
If you have data in your base plan that is used first (once a bug has been fixed).

Hi to all,
If it happened that you are on talk and text only plan and use data very seldom for an emergency purpose (Google Maps for example or checking Emails) It can last even more than a year.

It’s just 1gb of addon data. It will remain in your account until it is used up.
It is not 1gb every month.

Could someone please clarify this give a gig promotion. Once I have refered a friend and they become a PM customer. Both they and I will get an extra gig every monthy moving forward?
So if i am on the 5 gb a month plan i will now have 6 gb a month moving forward?
