Yes there is a temporary block placed on giving kudos when you exceed 100 in, I think, 24 hours. It was put in place to reduce the possibility of influencing community rewards, especially when allocated to only 1 or 2 members. Unfortunately it does catch members like you who are just enthusiastically supporting the community.

Must be due to some programmed system limitation to prevent community members from flooding the forum with bravoes.  It is nice gesture to bravo posts.

Getting bravoes does affect community member's community rewards. So this limit may prevent some members from "gaming" the system.  It does not appear that you were doing this though.
