Monday
Hahahahaha YES you have a friend like him too I can tell so accurate
Monday
@Handy1 - Yes, some people sound worried when they hear "No Frills" or " No on demand CSA".
Like why do I want to pay the carrier $50-$70 for a simple activation fee? It's a scam! Plus talking to a person out of country with a hard to hear English / French voice is hard. But when I contact a Public Mobile CSA it sounds like they are Canadian. And paying $40 extra just for a 1 hour hold without a good callback system is hard to justify doing groceries or going to Canadian Trash while waiting for the Public Mobile CSA to respond is better than sitting at home or other people listen to the annoying hold music on speakerphone.
Probably even top tier Business / First Class plane seats and Uber Black XL.
Monday
@fixin1 Not sure he refused to fiddle with it and said it just automatically connect to AT&T and it’s working fine so no need to play with settings . Been trying to poach him to public mobile but he refuses he like Telus and dosent care that he’s paying to much . He just like having top tier everything from phones to cars homes clothes jewelry and food .hes got more money then GOD and thinks anything that cost less can’t be as good and dosent lift a finger just get others to compliment his lifestyle. He even offered to buy my a trailer if I agreed to live in it for 2 years He like to pay to embarrass people .but as bad that sounds he fun guy to party with
Saturday
@abtest - Ah, probably didn't create a Welcome to Mexico roaming message.
Saturday
@fixin1 - just the msg saying welcome to US. You can get a roaming pkg for xxxx. That might have triggered as we were flying out of Montreal. Nothing about Mexico.
Friday
@abtest - Seems like it was enabled for you, but on an issue with the provision probably as you were down in Mexico. Did your phone give you a text of any sort from Public Mobile?
Friday
@Handy1 - Any other providers they can connect to? Telcel? Movistar?
Friday
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/ab/get-help/articles/mex-subscription
According to FAQ, Public Mobile shares the same roaming partners in Mexico as TELUS. The specific provider you connect to will depend on your location and the available providers.
Friday
@fixin1 My friend is in Mexico right now , but with Telus and using AT&T so AT&T will definitely be one of the roaming partners for sure
Thursday
Not sure about the roaming partner, but yesterday, I was able to send and receive SMS while in Mexico. Also managed to call home - although calling was hit and miss. Have no roaming plan / option. ???
Thursday
Supposedly, the help article on Mexico roaming will be released tomorrow sometime. We will find out more details tomorrow.
