USA-Canada subscription deal, doesn't compare with Freedom Mobile

Hey everyone, 

I I have been with PM for over 3 years now, but I travel often to the US 

Freedom Mobile currently has a promotion 

For $34 you get 50GB a month with unlimited Canada - USA calling and text, plus no roaming ever in 94 countries (US included)
This a sweet deal, and so far all I can find from PM is $60 + a month for 60GB  -- so not as good as a deal. 

I don't want to switch, but I don't think I can afford not to...  every month when I go to the US if I leave anywhere without wifi I am screwed,   ..unless PM can match that?

Is there anyway I could talk to a PM customer service rep to discuss this, so I can avoid switching companies?

I also often travel to USA and I just buy add-on for $10 with data valid for 15 days. It works for and I recommend looking into it. With the points that I earn from public mobile app it’s worth it.

Ooooo that is a good point. 
I am in Ontario, and I go down to the US about once a month. 
But PM has had decent coverage, and I do like PM as a service. If I leave, it is extremely reluctantly. 
But I unfortunately do not have a back up phone.. but that is something to consider actually.

How I agree with you 100% that it is an awesome deal, I do attend the US 4-6 times a year. If I may suggest though, if you happen to have a spare phone or back up phone, since FM is month to month if you BYOD, try the service out for 30-60 days first, especially in the areas you're in...  home, work, play. Also, try in the US as well. As much as it's an amazing deal, I've heard from folks here in Winnipeg for example, service is hit and miss. And it suites your needs, then more power to you. But I wouldn't walk away just yet as you may not find their service up to your standards. Hope this helps a little.

Hmm, that is a huge shame that they cant compete with Freedom. I guess Freedom was bought out recently by Quebec company called... Tron?  If I am remembering that correctly.

@Amuod016  PM won’t exactly match freedom plans as they can’t compete with freedom . But you can certainly mask support for one of the new subscription activation only plans . Other have confirmed getting those plans

I do notice if your PM customer and live in Quebec they have better offers that closely resemble freedom offerings
