Time and zone change keeps happening

My wife and I, both on Public, keep having problems with our phones changing to Dubai but we're in S Ont.  No other devices on our Rogers wifi are affected, but it only started since we changed wifi to Rogers. It happens often enough to be a real problem,  especially for wake up alarms. It reverts back eventually but curses problems until it does. 

The only solution so far is to change settings to not allow automatic time and location. 

PITA. Anyone else had this? Suggestions?

No to Dubai, either way.  The weather app was deleted on both phones so we'll see in a few weeks if things are ok.  Thanks for the help.  I'll report back if everything is clear.  It seems so bizarre.

Have you been to Dubai recently? Or did you check weather in Dubai?

Google might remember that and now it is trying to 'help you'.
I never use anything Google-spy-stuff and if I want to see weather I go to Weather Underground site. Almost Every app is spying on you so less apps I use better for me.

I only have access to 2 phones and both are on PM and both having the same problems.  

Clue: I just recd a notification from Google weather about Dubai weather, yet I deleted all the settings for location,  time, etc to manual and Google weather is showing the correct location.  Hmmm.   We both have Google weather installed. Also,  the problem is very irregular.  Maybe once every 2 weeks. So far,  just a pain but I slept in this morning because my phone alarm switched time zones in the night.

So,  I just deleted Google weather to see if that helps. Very odd.

I'm still not ruling anything out.  I thought others might have this problem but no luck on searches. Both are Samsung phones but different models/ years.

Since you have multiple phones and 'rogers' works ok but not PM, exchange SIM cards and see if you get wrong time zone in another phone to eliminate phone issue itself.

Also,  I doubt there's a virus. Nothing else seems to be wrong.

No VPN or anything else used.  5 other devices (tablets, etc) that are on wifi but not Public are unaffected.  Calling Rogers is a no go.  I have no interest in spending hours getting shunted from one idiot to another and they will all blame PM.

Never heard of such thing. My phone changes as per global schedule. I doubt this has to do anything with PM service. Maybe something else affects time zone change on your phone(s). Do you use 'fake location' app?
