This company used to provide a great value for dollar. But now it's just become another corporate sellout to Telus!
8 years, down the drain, all so that they could squeeze an extra $74/year out of me by forcing me onto the "new" points system, all while claiming (sociopathically) that they're somehow "increasing value". They sound like a lefty lunatic.
And their offer for our loyalty: "bonus data" THAT EXPIRES AFTER 150 DAYS?!
At least when they were trying to get us to move over voluntarily, they provided points. Now, this is just plain highway robbery by greedy yes-men, seeking to earn a big bonus!
I don't buy it. And now, my loyalty is out the window. I will be jumping ship to the next great deal elsewhere because these dingbats have turned PM into another corporate shill.
I hope, if PM goes through with this change, that they burn to the ground and cost Telus billions of dollars along the way.
Who's with me?

Soon you will be a legacy, if you don't respect loyalty....then myself and all the people I brought will be off to the competition!!!!!!!

We pay some of the HIGHEST telecom prices in the world, and it's been proven that it's got nothing to do with geography (contrary to popular belief). It is 100% about competition because of the unruly control the Canadian oligopoly (Telus, Bell, Rogers) exerts in the market. Full stop. It's one (very small) step below the heinous sins of a monopoly-controlled market.
Congratulations on being brainwashed to just bend over and "take it". I'll continue to be a vocal opposition to unfettered corporate greed and their intentional opposition to the competition we deserve in the market.

These telecom companies are all the same. You can’t win. Does not matter where you go these days. I’ve been with them all. It’s like a merry go round.
Edit: PM is good as long as you realize that support is all online and may take a while.

I'm sorry this is happening to you and others but I don't think they've lost their mind, as their plans are still on par with or better than anyone else, they will continue to get new customers who don't care about loyalty rewards and are just happy to be saving money compared to other phone providers.
I do think that they will regret losing many of their legacy members when all the people who normally provide free customer service for them in this forum end up leaving and will end up having to pay for more customer service agents

YIKES...that's harsh ! You and I have had a good run with PM for about the same length of time. I'm not happy with the reduction in benefit as well...BUT...PM still provides best value of all the 3rd tier providers. Some Points is better than NO points, is it not.
