Koodo VoLTE.

I just got this text message to my Koodo Pre-Paid Number which is on a $15 Plan.

I've never ever recieved such from Public Mobile, and I was just inquiring about VoLTE on Public yesterday when this text message from Koodo came. I guess the smaller carriers have picked it up.

Yes, that's correct. I got this message to my Koodo Line.

I have one Account with Koodo and 4+ Accounts with Public Mobile.

@Priority I got a similar text message last week on Koodo prepaid but mine indicated that my phone did not support VoLTE, which was false.  What surprised me the most was that Koodo provided a link to VoLTE compatible phones which were for sale by Koodo! 😉  It also subtly provoked action by gently instilling fear that my voice service in Canada or US could be affected without a VoLTE phone....

So, I setup a callback and 30 minutes later I started the process of getting my device working on VoLTE. Two reps and a few phone restarts with new pushed out profiles later and my phone had VoLTE going.   TBH, I was shocked at how smoothly the entire support experience ended up being.

@hTideGnow if you re-read the OP's post, they obviously have both Koodo and PM accounts/numbers.  This isn't Koodo sending these messages to PM customer lines/numbers.

HI @Priority

yeah, Other Telus business like to use PM to promo, like Mobile Klink and that new internet ISP.  Just surprise even Koodo doing that on PM customers
