This is corporate overreach. Public Mobile has betrayed loyal customers who promoted their service to their friends and family for years while growing the customer base then the customer support lied to us in 2022 that the old rewards was going to stay.
I just declined hooking up Telus fibre optic cable service because of the questionable actions of this company.

It is too bad they changed the rewards system, we have to deal with it or find another mobile service provider.

Unfortunately, this is how life works. There is not much that we can do as I am sure that PM used some hidden clause in the fine print to force this change onto its customers. Options are either to leave PM and look for other good subscription offers with other providers or to just live with it (in case this offer is the best in terms of data/talktime vs cost).
I am not affiliated with PM in any way but if I have to think in terms of whether it is ethical for the company to have done so then this is what I think. As customers, don't we all do something similar if it suits our requirements. For example, if I get a better offer with another provider, I am going to move right away without bothering to think about PM's bottom line or how losing a customer is going to affect PM. So, in all fairness, PM should get a similar opportunity to act in their own business interest.

I had a feeling about all the new shiny features would come to bite us in the end. Telus expected more money from the exploited customer.

I'm not accepting any bootlicker reponses. Public Mobile has turned it's back on those who supported it for years.

You CANNOT.
This is done deal beyond our control. You can complain to some agency if you wish. Search Help for details.

Unfortunately there is no other option. If you stay with Public Mobile then you’ll be switched to the Public Points System.
You only option would be to find a different service provider if you don’t want to stay with Public Mobile anymore.
