Have any of you obtained a bundle discount for Telus home services?

My friend just renewed his Telus home internet and Telus TV . He was able to get an additional $5 monthly bundle discount from Telus by telling them he had a PM account. You can get a $10 monthly bundle discount if you have a Koodo or Telus mobility plan.

LOL. Somebody must want to use that old $13 legacy plan, even as a base plan to upgrade to a better plan. Currently, there are some Change Subscription plans available (at least to me) at this time, which are superior to the New Activation plans. For example, $20 4G 3GB, $23 4G 6GB, $25 4G 10GB.

@funpig1  I have Telus phone plans and they called me offering deal on home internet and I would get 24 month discount on cell plan . I said sure then as we proceeded with the deal they then said ok but you have to get home internet from Koodo as Telus sons er do it for my location ( maritimes) but Koodo does and the discounts  still applies . And yes I still have the $13 plan you have me just have to renew it again first week of may

So your discount is applied to you cellular plan (Koodo?) and not home services? 

I always haggle with Telus when I renew my home internet and land line (no TV). Years ago they gave me a bundle discount on the home services (but never on the cellular mobility services) because my wife and kid had Koodo plans.

More recently, Telus just gives me a combination of various loyalty discounts which will bring my final price down to unacceptable level. I have to mark my calendar and call Telus loyalty dept before the contract runs out. Otherwise, my price will jump up to the regular price.

PS do you still have that $13 plan which I transferred to you back in August, 2024?

@funpig1  I just got home internet from Telus (Koodo) here in the maritimes and it gave me extra $10 discount for 24 months on my cell plan which is 150GB CAN/US /MEX $55 plan but with family discount brings it down to $40 then with $10 discount budled internet im paying $30 a month for cell plan . But of course it goes back up to $40 in 24 months well like 22 month’s now as I did that deal couple months ago . Certainly good deal I also bundle my streaming services for Netflix and prime Disney and whatever else comes with it .
