Hi All,

 

I used to have $120/90days plan with unlimited provincal call & messages, and 4GB data before August, 2016. On one day of August, I saw a promotion plan with $120/90days plan with unlimited provincal call & international messages, and 6GB data. I changed my plan to this promotion plan and it's saying that it will be taking effact starting with next cycle which is in September, 2016. Today I logged on my account to check my usage. I saw data usage 3095MB/4096MB. So I still just have 4GB data, not 6GB which I changed it to. How can I claim this 2GB data back?

You've posted this in the wrong section, should have been in Plans and Add-ons or Discussions, this Public Lab section is specifically for ideas on how to improve Public Mobile. (@Luddite, can you move this?)

 

Anyway, that said, there is a glitch in the system where some plans were not getting upgraded properly on renewal. This can be fixed, but it requires a moderator to do it, and they are unfortunately super backlogged right now due to the current promo, so you'll need to be patient until they can get to you, tagging @Shazia_K. BTW, have you checked out the promo, you'll likely want to take advantage of it.

@mwang Follow the directions in this post to have your issue addressed: Contact moderators  It will probably be several days before you have a response.

@mwang, be also be aware that the plan you called a promo posted in August was not a promo, but rather a new regular plan to pick, replacing your grandfathered plan with only 4GB.

 

Still, please consider the new plan for the same $120, with 12 GB over 90-days... you can futuredate your change if you do so before November 20th (about 1 1/2 weeks away).

Thanks all for the comments and advises. I already signed up for the new promption before posting this question. Just wondering will it be updated correctly on December 9 when the new 3 month cycle starts...

@mwang yeah the lab is definitely not the right place for that question!  But the answer is "hopefully".  Sign in on Dec 9th and have a look.  If the plan change didn't happen as expected, then contact a moderator using the link @Luddite provided, and they will correct it for you.
