One really gets an appreciation for live customer service after spending an enormous amount of time fumbling around the website searching for an answer to one´s very simple question.

My question, I chose a self made plan the other day.  I did not opt for text messaging.  Moments later I realized my mistake and wanted to add text messaging.  It seems the only way to do so is by choosing a new plan and loosing the $47.00 I just spent.  Today I see that an offer exists which includes text messaging, unlimited canada wide plus 1gig data for $47.00

This is so confusing and once I paid there seems to be no turning back.

@andythomas  By doing a simple search through the forums, its not very difficult to get around this self serve provider.  And there are absoultely ways to accomplish this change without losing your money.  Send a private message to one of hte moderators, create a thread in the proper are of the forum and they can get your problem fixed.

@andythomas sorry, wrong place for this mate.

Also, you didn't really need to search the forum if you didnt want to.... just PM a MOD and they'll take care of you.

There's also email, facebook, twitter, etc. etc..... or just start a thread in the right place.

Good luck!

@andythomas  The moderators MAY be able adjust your plan. Send any moderator a private message ( @Shazia_K for example) with your phone number and an explanation of what happened and the plan you would like. Coverage is currently: Mon-Thursday 9am(EST) to 9pm(EST) and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9am(EST) to 5:30pm(EST).

As someone who uses a lot of data without paying attention i've found myself several times at the end of my data with time still left on the plan. Since you can't (yet) force a plan to renew early I usually look at how many days left I have, if it's a day or two I just ride out the plan without much effort but anymore and I usually just ask them to renew my plan early rather then pay the $30 for the gig. A simple message to them and they respond ususally quite quickly. I also once, when I first started with PM, picked the wrong option and needed their help to fix it. Phone CC is the bain of my exsistence and one of the main selling points of PM is their lack of phone based support, I don't want to call and I don't want them calling me. Miss communication and incorrect information and "they told me this" happen far to often. An email is clear and is a written record of what each party said. It's on my time as well, no sitting around on hold, I send and they reply when they get to it. NO way should they have phone support (but maybe they could work on their message forms)
