The following legacy plans are cheap compare to new plans. But with $3 increase, i am not sure why if anyone don't want to get transfered to koodo or go on new plans with rewards. Other legacy plans seems to be cheaper compared to new Public Mobile plans.
$19 Province-Wide Talk
$25 Canada-Wide Talk + Text
Of cource they are not forced to, but they should understand that its now the new public mobile as they have moved on. They are allowing you to keep the plans and giving additional boost to it....so there is no point of staying imo.
Yes those two plans are a bargain even with the added costs. I think it comes down to the $300 phone rebate because I don't see Koodo allowing the Legacy price to stand for long.
The current bain for Public Mobile is continued phone support for Legacy customers, even if they pay the extra $3.
FYI: I am on a grandfathered, not legacy, plan and still support my idea!

If you meant the new Public Mobile grandfathered plan, then NOO. I am still on a $90/90 days plan and there is no way i am willing to move unless they offer better one 🙂 They decided to forget about low data users and technically its not really a low price plan if you compare the rate with the promo plan.
Yes, that is my plan too. I still think it was perfectly positioned to convert landline users as it has enough data for checking email and using maps while travelling. Current thinking obviously targets mid range data users; ignoring minimalists and data gluttons. 🤡
I'm only on the promo because it was the same price as my previous account. I'm not a glouten on the data, I'm expecting to use about 2 GB by the end of my 90 days. I do not plan on changing, as the extra data is nice, *IF* I need it.
i just had an email survey on behalf of Publicc Mobile sent to my email, and I filled it out. Looks like some changes around devices and how we as members may be able to get them in the future, but that's my speculation and not anything proven.
i hope some day I may be know as a legacy subscriber, as I have said, I'm not changing my plan anytime soon.
