Any possibility of offering a Senior's Discount?  I love the value of Public Mobile already but as I approach Senior age and retirement, I realize that it would be awesome if offered a "reward" for seniors similar to the communtiy reward or loyalty bonus, etc.  This might attract a large new customer base for Public Mobile and allow current users to recommend the service to their parents, etc.

Possibly a "perk" for seniors that travel?  Maybe make the US roaming packages more attractive for seniors?

I don't think Public Mobile is meant for any sort of discouts for students or seniors. The companies directions, target is  not for that purpose your looking for. Maybe the big 3 rogers, bell, telus would but not Public Mobile as they are more towards the contribution, "reward system". Meaning the more you help your fellow members, you setup autopay...etc you get rewarded with discounts and its for everyone so it isnt bias towards just certain specific groups.

Any offers should be given to everyone. Plus i could just pretend to be my dad and get the discount.  PM does no credit checks or any checks when people sign up.

Also check out zoomer mobile they are tarketing seniors i believe

@splashable, how does public verify that you are a senior and retired? Moreover, some seniors are more wealthy than a typical working stiff. Cellular service is not like taxation which tries to be progressive by scaling to income. In the eyes of the carrier, we should treated equal. This is a non starter request.

Though I admit it's a difficult one, PERHAPS PM should try to make things more lucrative for ALL

The main thing is for Public Mobile to remain price competitive and affordable for all. If that is through some sort of expansion of discounts and rewards offered or having affordable options and offering no frill service. Most people would want the latter and have the overall price come down for all and have no fills including not extending more complicated billing and discount plans. I would not be full opposed to extended discounts including to students but would prefer overall lower prices and affordable options for all. There is also another threat further discussing student and other discounts. Public Mobiles original business plan was more to be the more affordable option with fewer or no frills, which is why they're attempting to brand as less for less and the phone company without a phone number but they are now offering plans that more and more expensive for the same limited service or even less. Hopefully, they will listen and start going back to their roots of offering good competivitely priced phone plans or atleast offer additional discounts and rewards.
