Canada Short Code SMS not working

Cannot send TEXT to 736868 (SDM Optimum)

I've Unlimited Canada Wide Texting plan, and using a wp8 phone.  I texted 736868 for the Shoppers Optimum offer, which I'm quite sure it's a Canada offer only.  I received "Public Mobile here.  Sorry, we do not offer text messaging outside of Canada at this time."

Please kindly fix the Canada short code texting issue, Shoppers Optimum is within Canada, so it should be working.  Thanks.

I don't believe this would fall into the realm of the "Public Lab" - however I do agree short codes need to be fixed.

Feature request falls very much within the realms of "Public Lab".  

The "Announcements" in orange highlight to the right of this post states "...share your thoughts with us as we regularly review suggestions from our Community to make Public Mobile better."

Canada short codes are supposed to function. And only the free ones, for now at least.

Who knows, if fee-based short codes were like, 0.10-0.50¢, or even $1.00, maybe PM might consider it if fee is not too expensive, and demand exists, and so forth. We can only wait, see, hope

Apparently its not in list, yet. Perhaps PM should include it too

I can do the short codes with Speakout which is also a prepaid account.

Lest there be any confusion over short codes, PM supports short codes, but only those originally posted, with a scrollable display, many months ago. Due to questions over which codes were supported, the post was republished several days ago.

I personally haven't used a short code except for the one for 14 days of giveaway on day 1.  But, Shoppers Drug Mart are everywhere and I suspect lots of people would want to use this particular code.. especially as PM grows.   

Perhaps someone at PM could update the existing list once a month if new popular codes have surfaced.  Just to keep the customers feeling happy and special.
