Right now it's only limited to numbers in Canada. Why not enabling call forwarding to the US, provided the long distance ad-on still has unused minutes. If we can call there, why aren't we able to forward there? Call forwarding may than automatically stop as soon as all add-on minutes are used up.

@johncross Depending how important this is to you now I think there is a somewhat convoluted way to accomplish this:

- get a Canadian VOIP phone number (some are free)

- forward PM to your VOIP number (free if within your plan area)

- forward your VOIP number to the US number (around 2 cents/min)

Have fun.

@Luddite, Pennies went out the way of the Dinosaur. Besides, What does a Penny buy these days? Not sure if they still sell a Bottle of Coke for a Nickel, lol

@Luddite That's what I am doing right now with my home vBuzzer number. But thanks for breaking it down for the Community 🙂

However, the less convoluted way is simply allowing direct call forwarding. If you can call you should be able to forward.

My personal favourite, right now anyway, is fongo.com.
