I know PM does not have wifi calling. does anybody know if PM will be offering wifi calling in the future. Everybody should be asking PM about this. I need it in my house. I changed from Telus to Public, and didn't realize no wifi calling. Everybody should be contacting PM about this and maybe it will happen

hi @pvlarry yes, WhatsApp is not WiFi Calling

but Koodo system is much more reliable than Freedom, it might be couple bucks more, but peace of mind

have whatsapp, and know all about it.  but it is not for regular local calls etc. especially to land lines or people, business that don't have whatsapp installed on their phones!! and the signal is ok in other parts of the house, but not where office is or in basement.

Why don’t you use WhatsApp that will link to your number? It is free for texting and calling on wifi.

Not planning to go back to telus.  too expensive.  Koodo's plans seem not to include US or Mex. and are higher price than PM.  Mo other option which i have considered is to switch to Freedom. They have wifi and Can-US-Mex plans and are equivalent in price to PM. i will give PM a few months and see how my signal strength is. I varies from 1 bar to 4 when sitting still

Hey @pvlarry

Nobody knows the future of what Public Mobile will do. It could be or may not be in the works for PM. Lots of people said Public Mobile will never get Mexico as part of their plans. Guess what happened? Mexico is now part of some of PM's plans. So with that being said, if WiFi calling is important to you, then perhaps you can look at Koodo or go back to Telus that offer WiFi calling until PM has it.
