@MetaMorpheusMob Yup. That was results on a 4G plan. Here are results from right now on a 5G plan at my house. Network indicated in the screenshot.

@softech Pixel 6a. I think it's just a signal issue, TBH. I've heard the 4G bands penetrate obstructions better, so if there's any interference I'm assuming that's why I'm getting better speeds on 4G.
Although, as I say that 5G (top image) is getting better signal than 4G (bottom image). And it says LTE still. So I dunno 🤷

interesting find. For 4G plan on 5G network, there is no other special cap other than the regular cap of 100Mbps.
what kind of phone do you have? and area you are in?

I consistently find the 4G network to be faster for me. I'm on a 4G plan, but that won't make a difference as I'm not even getting max speeds on the 4G plan.
This is right now, same location. Top one is 5G and the bottom one is 4G.

@kygo , my iPhone’s software is updated to the newest which is ios 16.6 & I have my Voice & Data set to 5G Auto (Data Mode set to Standard) in my settings & shows 5G on my iPhone.
I am on the $15 Plan, 250 mb at 3g Speed!

Do you have all the latest OS updates? And have a look at settings, general, about to see if there's a carrier update.

All plans, including 3G and 4G plans, have access to the 5G network. Your 5G plan doesn't grant you access to the 5G network (you already had that), it just increases your max speed.
Go into the network settings on your phone and change it to 5G. It's a device issue, not a service provider issue.

@kygo Are you in a 5G coverage area . Your iPhone should have 5G option . Try resetting network settings
