Public Mobile recently updated our accounts so some of the familiar jargon has changed.

Oh you are smart !! It used to be "Purchased xxxx" so I was confused. Tysm @RavingRaven

Your plan renewed on January 6th. $23-$10 ( bonus referral credit)=$13 ( automatic top up). If you didn't think your pre-authorized payment was going to be charged to your card did you not wonder why you still had phone service? Public Mobile is a prepaid provider. You must pay first then get service.

when you activated your new account, you provided a valid credit / debit card for payment and Autopay is set up. The $13 could be the difference owing between credits you had (referal credit ??) and your regular plan costs.

Looks like it automatically added funds to your account to make the monthly payment.
