Then you will need to contact customer service agent. If you are still a customer with PM, you can submit ticket for CSA help or you could also private message CSA.
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/chatbot. Follow the prompts to submit ticket.
CSA may ask a few questions to verify account ownership and then should be able to help you. Response times can take a few hours. Check your private message inbox (envelope in upper right corner of website).
or private message;

@volobi PM usually does not sell locked phone. You can tried to put an active sim from another carrier and see if there is a message asking for unlocked code
To ask PM to unlock the phone it sold you, open ticket with PM CS Agent:
at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot. Follow this to get to ticket open screen quicker:
start by typing : Contact CS Agent
then Click "Contact Us"
then Click "Other"
finally Click "Click here to submit a ticket"
you will then direct to another page to open ticket.
After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS Agent
If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can also send a private message to the CS Agent (but this can take longer):

Hi @volobi Where you got your phone from?
Only the original provider will provide you with the unlock code (or you go out and pay for it)
But if you got the phone from Telus and Koodo, first, you don't need the phone unlocked to be used here, and PM can help to unlock them ONLY if they are from Telus and Koodo

Where did you get the phone from? Which carrier is the phone locked to? You normally need to contact the original carrier. It should be a free service these days in Canada.
Most Telus, Koodo phones will work with Public mobile since they belong to the same group of companies. Public mobile sells used, certified unlocked phones recently.
