I am unable to move my existing number from Phonebox (Rogers) to Public mobile.
I have already provided the account number that phonebox gave me but last agent claimed the account number is not valid
I have double checked with them and they confirmed they provided the correct number in past
Can I request for number switching to be retried via IMEI no.?

Porting from Phonebox is a bit tricker than a regular mobile company.
Here is some additional information:
It can also take 3-5 days to port to be completed.
