has anyone ever travelled outside of Canada/USA with their phone/Public Mobile? While I outside the country, will text messages still come through once i am in a wifi area with my phone turned on? Would I be able to send a text the same way, or have to go through a different app or something on the internet instead of Public Mobile? thanks

Hey @chr1
As per the Yum Yum, nothing works outside of Canada and the USA. You can however set up TextNow locally while you're here and use it via WiFi where you are or you can pick up a data only SIM card where you'll be and use the TextNow app (with a local number where you live) to make calls and texts back home. There is an overseas SIM card I'd recommend but having issues finding the link. Will update soon.

NOTHING works outside on US (proper plan!) and Canada.
PM does NOT provide any service outside of these 2 countries.
PM does have add-ons to call limited number of foreign countries but that is all.
PM does not provide WiFi calling.
You should consider getting free voip app to call using WiFi.
