travel to Scandinavian countries

Hi I'm going to travel to Iceland, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. I know Public doesn't have  roaming in Europe. 

I wanted to know if my phone would still work in WIFI areas for text Facebook and messenger, without buying a new sim card in each country.

using wifi, you'll be able to use messanger and facebook without buying a new sim. You can also download Whatsapp to talk text with other Whatsapp users back home  using local wifi and separately purchased data.
