transfer number issue

I did not receive the confirmation SMS from my old provider during the phone number transfer steps using the public mobile app while registering my new SIM.
Upon calling them, they suggested it was an issue with public mobile request to transfer system, they had not received the request. How can I resolve this? Is there a chat agent that can help me confirm the number that was registered and to resend that request to my old provider?

@Adam21 , if the port was not received by the sending carrier, then try submitting it again.  If you continue to have issues, please call the number in the link below for support.

@Adam21  I’ll private message you the porting team number , call them they can re trigger the port request for you . And be sure to leave old providers som in the phone to reply YES to the confirmation text .
