I was transferring my phone number to the public from Fido but I couldn't reply "'yes" to confirm transferring my phone number to Fido because I lost my phone and I was planning to move to public after all.
when I try to log in to public my account, it asks me to confirm my phone number but I don't get one and same as my Samsung account.
when I try to contact them it just sends me an auto reply and when trying to talk to a real person it just says that they are in high demand It was like that for about 3 days now
what should i do?

you need to work with Fido first. See if they allow you to give a verbal approval instead of SMS approval or if they need to you get a Fido sim
once you sorted out with Fido, Call back PM porting support team. they can re-trigger the process for you. I will message the number to you via the Community inbox ( https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage ) . Check the envelope icon on top right. Call them and get it fixed
