public mobile needs to resemite to vergin so the account can be change

@RobertVincent  - You can only transfer your number over from Virgin if the account is active. If your Virgin account is not active, reactivate it with them, then proceed to continue to restart the porting process.

 

Porting your phone number from another cell provider could take a few hours to complete the port.
Using the other cell provider's SIM you should be still receiving calls on it, until the port completes.

Make sure you do not cancel your previous provider's services.

Incoming calls are usually the last to port over.

@RobertVincent   do you need to port from Virgin to PM but you missed the text from Virgin?  Yes, you can ask PM to retrigger the process.  There is a number you need to call and they can assist.  I will message you the number.  Please check Community inbox on the top right, envelope icon
