im trying to activate my phone but its telling me my sim number is invalid

I believe that hal2 is asking about an invalid sim card error message that is shown on the activation website. That isn't related to the phone device.

SIM cards don't get locked out from too many activation attempts. The 50 minutes wait time applies even after the very first attempt if the customer proceeded past the first page and then tried to go back to change or correct something.

Is this a message on your phone when first installing the SIM, or during an attempt to activate your newSIM/account?

@hal2  your sim is probably locked from too many attempts. Wait 50 minutes from last attempt,  go to private/ incognito mode and try again to activate your SIM card.

@hal2 , if you have any problems on first attempt, often the SIM card is session locked for about an hour.  So, you need to wait a bit and then try again.  Try using incognito mode, delete browser cache.

Try using a different browser.  Also clear your cache and cookies then reboot.  Wait an hour between attempts to setup your account.
