Support should be from the new company. This account needs to be active and you leave this sim in a phone to confirm the transfer. Everything else is up to them.

Who is your new provider? Chatr or Fido? There's no reason for them to send a port request to Rogers unless you're going with one of their subsidiaries like phone box or zoomer than that might be their process to have Rogers make the porting request? But that sounds very unusual to me.

They said they sent the request at 3PM.  However according to him, they sent the request to Rogers first then Rogers would forward it to PM.  Not sure if that's what it supposed to be done.

The PAT (porting authorization text) is pretty much automatic if the correct information is entered. You will need to contact your new provider and ask them what the holdup on your report request is?

Are you 100% sure you want to port out right away? You can always test your service and your new provider for 14 days to ensure you are completely satisfied with the service you receive. If you are unhappy you can always cancel your new service within 15 days without penalty. And just resume your public mobile service without the loss of your account any possible rewards, bonuses or add-ons that may be on your account.

If after 14 days you love your new provider and the service you are receiving you can port out then. If your account is suspended you may have to pay an extra $15 to reactivate your plans or if it's koodo or telus you are not required to have an active service plan just simply existing account.

HI @sweethomeql   Your PM service still active and you can receive calls and text without problem?

It's hard to say where the hold up with porting, could be on your new provider

But anyway, for porting out, you need to first check with your new provider and ask them to re-request the porting.  Once they sent and PM received the request, PM will send you the text and you will need to reply
