sim has been registered but wont work. PM wants to send a code to the phone to complete registration but phone wont work

@Sundog  I’m confused so this not  activation? .services just stopped working from upgrading phone ? Or plan also check

what she upgraded with? did you test the sim in another phone then?

check if the phone is blacklisted if you just got the phone new from someone:

Yes we tried this.  The phone had a PM sim in it and worked up until my wife upgraded

receiving the code does not need the PM app

but activation needs the app to complete the activation.  Are you just going through activation? if you haven't use the app yet, then the activation was not done

I think S8 has a new enough OS to install the PM app.  If not, you will need a friend to download the app and help activation

 

@Sundog  You need a phone or tablet to down load the app it’s the only way to activate a sim now since new system update . Can you use a friends phone to download app and activate then deluge app from their phone and you can manage your account on the website from there on out .

Yes but the app wont work on the phone.  The phone is an S8

@Sundog 

Have you rebooted your phone since registering the SIM Card? Also resetting your network settings and rebooting might fix this for you also if a simple reboot doesn’t fix it.
