Very little is actually stored on the sim. Texts are stored locally in your texting app. Phone usage history is locally stored in the phone app. Apps will store their data on the phone locally. Locally could be either the built-in memory or an sd card.

Having a sim or not doesn't affect what is stored locally.

What do you mean "current data"? Are these two devices sync-ed somehow? Or is the data on the S8 just a snapshot of the last activity that was done on it?

Hi @Caeser it could be the Wifi and background download

But again , no worry, just wipe the S8 and it won't affect the s10

Hi while i thank both of you for the responses, all the content is on my S10+ because that's the phone i use.It kinda shocked me to charge my S8 and see all data still on it without a sim installed.

,Hi @Caeser they are two different phones, wiping one won't affect another phone

But you can first transfer all the content from one to another.  Use the Samsung transfer app

First please ensure, that you have copied anything on the device that you wish to keep.  The factory reset option doesn't affect your other device.  The option willl be available in the settings menu of your Galaxy S8.
