removing Data add-on

I have a Data add-on that I can't remove from my plan. I've switched to a new plan with a larger data plan and no longer require the data add-on from the previous plan. However, the Data Add-on is still there when I go to the current data plan page.

 @AE_Collector : Or gifted 🙂

I have to assume that the OP assumed the add-on is a monthly subscription add-on that is charged for each month at plan renewal. In actual fact it is a one time purchase that remains until used up.

Hi @rufinlutao

The great thing about the add on is it's always there for you should you eventually need it.

Regrettably, there are no refunds for paid services at Public Mobile, so you cannot receive either full or partial refunds for services (whether consumed or not).

See the 5th point under the heading, How does Public Mobile prepaid service work in the Service Terms at bottom of page.

 @rufinlutao : Just think of it as your overage bucket. Some day for some reason you use all your data. There it is to seamlessly tap in to to carry you over to your next renewal.

Unlike other providers, this place lets you keep add-ons on until consumed.

Thanks for the replies. After checking my acct page it seems that previous issue that I posted about seem to have vanished and the correct data values now appears on the data plan overview. Cheers.

Sorry, but there is no way to remove a data add-on. There are also no refunds. However, the remaining data in that add-on will be availablle for use until it gets used up,  even if that takes a prolonged amount of time.

Hi @rufinlutao you cannot remove Add-ons.  Add-ons just rollover to your next 30-day cycle until all consumed.
