I am a long term public mobile customer. Can I talk to someone who would explain why am I charged 40% more?

With new switch to the Points Rewards. You now need to collect up to 15 points and redeem for a $15 off your bill.
The points is based on 5% of your cost of your plan. You will also get 10 points on your annual Loyalty date.

@1507 It's most likely because of the switch from $ rewards to points, meaning that going forward you will pay the full cost of your plan, as it was when you first started it, and then collect points to redeem for either bill credits or discounted add ons. You probably got a data bonus last month that was "compensation" for the switch. It was announced back in March but perhaps you missed it.

Public Mobile removed the Legacy Rewards system and changed everyone to the new Public Points system. We ALL lost $5-$7 a month in credits.
