I purchased 15 day talk and text for the U.S. I returned to Canada after 5 days and now my Prime A1 flip phone can't make calls. Incoming calls go to voicemail but not the phone. A message on the home screen says "Emergency Call" but I can't disable it. Any ideas?

Thanks, Town Hero! Shutting down and restarting didn't do it, but shutting down and reseating the SIM card did the trick. Much appreciated.

@petercarl first thing I would try is shutting down the phone and restarting. Another thing you can try, still requires shutting down but take your SIM out, reseat it and turn back on. If still not working, do you have access to another phone that you can try your SIM in?
