Credit cards companies can show both Pending and Authorized/Approved charges. Sometimes there are multiple Pending charges showing during activations or renewals, but when the payment gets authorized, the incorrect amounts will fall away, then the real one will stay.
If these end up being Authorized/Approved charges and the extra funds are not showing in your Available funds area, then contact Public Mobile Customer Support Representatives (CSA).
There are 2 ways to reach CSA, found here: https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/contact-an-agent

The password must be created by you. If pressing '1' on your phone dialer app does not prompt you to set up voicemail, enter any voicemail phone number (you can choose the one local to you) from this list into you phone's contacts. Call it, and see if you can follow next prompts / instructions:
@jimlou please see responses above to your questions.
If you are newly activated, ensure you restarted your phone after your inserted your Public Mobile SIM card.
I would also recommend performing a reset of you network settings on your device.
Note, this also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.

HI @jimlou Login to My Account and check the Transaction log and see what showing for the recent transaction there
for voicemail, have you gone through the voicemail setup yet?
Hold down the ‘1’ key on your phone keypad to get to your voicemail.
When prompted, enter a password between 4 to 15 digits long.
if you already setup the voicemail but need to reset password , you can log into My Account and click Reset Voicemail Password

@jimlou Take a look at your self-serve account and see the Transaction/Payment history. What do you see on your credit card transaction history? Is it a single $24 transaction or multiple with different amount?

Hopefully you have sorted out your billing issue, but as long as you can access your My Account, you should be able to resolve your voicemail issue.

1. Do you remember if you had activation problems?
2. You can use the reset voicemail password option that resets it to your phone number.
