on autopay my card was billed $28.00 which I paid. I was asked to fill out a" ticket" but I don't see anywhere to do that. Can you please tell me where the ticket is to make the report of the overcharge?
Thank you
K

Not quite. Activate choosing autopay and using a referral = $2 credit in Available Funds immediately and $10 credit added to Available Funds usually overnight and $2 showing in the rewards area. Then at the next renewal, that $2 reward converts to Available Funds and reduces the plan cost by $14. Then the next renewal will reduce the plan cost by $2.
Of course one could choose to spend the $12 Available Funds on add-ons in that meantime and not reduce the plan cost by as much at the first renewal would otherwise.

@kjoh thanks for the response, yeah your first bill is always full pop because you are not in the system yet. If you signed up for the flash sale you will get next moth free, other wise minimum you will get 14.00 off if tou had a referral plus 2.00 in autopay x2.....and wow just noticed this had already been written. Im tired. back to bed...

If you log into your account you will see $4 in the rewards section for autopay. They may have added the $10 referral credit already but youll see in your payment history by monday at the latest. Your plan credit as previously stated is up to 30 days but can also be as little as 3 days, 7 days or 10 days. Your plan renews just after midnight on June 7th so check your account on the 4th or 5th and if for some reason it hasn't been applied by then you can contact the moderators to have it added before your renewal occurs.

@kjohWelcome. You should receive at minimum $14 off of your next 30 day cycle. Your $10 refer a friend credit plus two $2 autopay rewards. If you don't, contact the moderators about it.

@kjoh my plan just renewed and all the rewards plus $10 credit was applied

Thank you for your reply to my query regarding being overcharged. Yes, it was my very first payment and they did not deduct two dollars from the basic $25 charge before computing the tax and did not apply the $10.00 new subscriber discount I appreciate your comment that discounts do not appear on the first bill.
I will wait for next months bill In the hope that it will all be sorted out then.
Thank you again for your time and attention.

@kb_mv no the advertised price never does, but to log in to self serve and in there see the proper amounts with taxes I think would help alot of people out. Koodo post paid did at least, 33.90 due for my 30 dollar plan, broken down right there for me to see plain as day. I could see where that could catch some others by suprise at first with it just saying 30 then their card says 33.90 (in Ontario's case at least)

@AE_Collector maybe lots of people started in April so their renewals are coming up, but yea this is the third one from yesterday. It also make sense they dont include taxes or else they would need graphics for every province and us in ontario would be mad at what albertas plan would say....LOL

I prefer the clean even dollars rather than all the messy cents all over the place. The even dollars make all the rewards make sense too.

I can't think of anywhere that I shop online (or in person for that matter) that includes taxes in the advertised price. I'm surprised that this is an issue.

When submitting a payment manually in your account you are shown the applicable taxes for your region. If you rely on autopay its reflected on your card statement. This simplifies self serve to appear the same for everyone regardless of the differing taxes per region (area code).

@yanzhiqiang agreed this would make things easier... Maybe it's somehow more costly behind the scenes? I know koodo included taxes with bills, but they're also more costly with "full" costumer service... Could that be why they don't?
I wonder now if koodo prepaid includes taxes or not? 🤔

This is the issue here, what if self serve account show the after tax also total charged on the payment section, nobody going to ask this question again.

Could this be the THIRD “I was overcharged” topic today Due to taxes on plans (A new record)? Maybe, maybe not.

@kjoh If you recently activated your card then it's possible the Auto-Pay for this pay period will get applied on your next plan renewal.
So your next renewal will be $21.00 plus tax.

@kjoh you are correct if you live in BC that is the cost of a plan at 25.00 x 12% tax. Your bill should be $25.76 if autopay was in fact on.
edit: Your very first bill is full charge autopay will credit 4.00 in the second month. Just as @geopublic pointed out.
If you contact a moderator directly they can help you.
I would cancel auto pay then restart it again to make sure it is activated

What are all the circumstances that led you to think you're being "over billed"?
Are you remembering taxes?
Edit: $25 plan plus BC taxes = $28.
Edit part deux: although having autopay would make it $23 before tax. nvm
@kjoh Are you a brand new customer and is this your first payment? If you are a payment of $25+tax would make sense. Autopay doesn't give a discount for the initial plan payment.
