not enough minutes?

Once again, about the 3rd time with Public Mobile, I have a plan for unlimited Canada-wide phone calls and I am told the long distance I want to make is not available because I am told I have used all available minutes?  How can there be available minutes for a plan for unlimited access to Canada?

@Josette that was happening to me while i was on the unlimited Canada-wide calling plan as well a few times over the period of a few months.

As @Yummy mentions, do a reboot, and/or reset of network settings.

I have also noticed toggling into airplane mode, than back to regular mode can do something that avoids that message too.

If it persists I would contact CSA (https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/contact-a-moderator), but, hopefully it just goes away or after your next renewal it it will stop doing that...cause it is annoying.

You can try adding +1 before area code.

Reboot phone, reset network settings...

@Josette   it might be a false negative.

Try to put a 1 in front of the number you want to call .  1-416-123-4567

Also, sometime PM does not give you the proper "error" message.  It could be that you entered a wrong number but they gave you a wrong recording
