no data last two days and can't send receive MMS last two months

Last two months I can't send or receive and MMS items. A mobile shop checked the Public MObile website and changed some settings but still nothing.

Beginning yesterday, I have no data working on a 50 GB plan. Today still the same. What is happening? Very inconvenient.

I tried using Google messenger today. Still didn't work. 2nd Mobile tech thinks it is because the phone was made in China, bought in Dubai 5 years ago. All settings correct. Possibly not compatible with N/A anymore.

@MartinSinclair1 that's good, at least data working

For MMS, are you using Google Message?? If not, download and set it as the default messaging app and test

if already using it, try to uninstall and reinstall the Google Message app

The amount of data remaining in your plan isn't a factor.  That data allotment doesn't get used for MMS.

@MartinSinclair1  Oppo phones are not in your list

If you follow the instructions below that list it will lead you to this site linked below which Public Mobile suggests for APN settings by phone make and model.  There are Oppo phones on there but I don't know which, if any, might be applicable to yours:

@MartinSinclair1 for your no data issue, did you login My Account and check how much data left?  Maybe you already used up?  And also check if you have enable data limit on your phone

For the MMS issue, best to setup a new APN profile (not just by update).  Many confirmed that you need to delete the current APN profile first.  Then Add new profile and add according to this, please note case-sensitive and do not add extra spaces.  Remember to save the new APN and then reboot the phone before you try

Don't know how to reset network settings. Will likely have to find another mobile shop for that

Yes cell data is on. It is a more complicated solution that that. One mobile shop couldn't figure it out.

It is an Oppo

@MartinSinclair1   Have you updated your APN settings?  See bottom of this page for doing so depending if iPhone or Android

https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/picture-messaging-updates

If OnePlus phone note that the first line has to be in all caps, i.e. SP.MB.COM

Have you tried resetting network settings? This will delete saved wifi passwords

@MartinSinclair1 have you gone into your phone's setting to confirm Cellular Data is turned on? Also that you do not have a data limiter set too low? Are you able to connect to Wifi?
